One day treatment of Trichomonas Vaginitis with 2gm of ornidazole

Abstract

|
77 case of Trichomonas Vaginitis were treated with a noew nitro-imidazole derivative ornidazole at a dosage of 2gm oral and 0.5gm vaginal in a one day treatment or 2gm in a single dose. 45 cases could be follow up, cure rate 98%. Minor and transitory side effects were reported in 9% of the cases and consisted of some nousea, dizziness and anorexia
